Winter Solstice Circle Collages with Erin McCluskey Wheeler

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2:00 - 4:00pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
In this workshop — open to all levels of experience — we will use the circle as an inspiration for making new collages from old artwork and collected ephemera. As we approach the darkest night of the year at the Winter Solstice, we will gather together as a community of artists to practice renewal and regeneration through the meditative and quiet work of collage. We will start out our workshop with a watercolor painting exercise then move into cutting apart and building using your collage materials and painted papers. The circle will be our guide to seeing new possibilities in our previously made artwork and collected collage material.
