SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 10am - 1pm PST
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
Join Case for Making shop owner Alexis Joseph a 3-hour watercolor paint-making class in our new space! We’ll cover what goes into watercolor medium and why it works so well, along with all the tools and processes necessary to make your own watercolors. We'll also explore synthetic, earth and mineral lake pigments and see how different pigments respond to the paint-making process. We'll work in teams of 6 and make 2 colors each, so everyone will leave with a Simple Travel Palette stocked with a full set of at least 12 colors!
MATERIALS NEEDED
These are the supplies you'll need to bring for class—feel free to supplement this list with other options you love or have on hand!
- A notebook and a pen or pencil
- All your questions about watercolor paints!
If you'd like to purchase supplies from our shop, you can order online and select in-store pickup, or shop in person before class. Shop hours are 11am-6pm daily; please plan ahead if you're picking up supplies! Instructors will not have access to the shop when we're closed.
