Vine Black

This cool black pigment originates from charred vine shoots!  It's fascinating to us how so many natural black pigments derive from the charring of a material like plants, bone, or pits.  It's so simple but offers so much range of color and texture!

All of our watercolors handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments and natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine and distilled water.

Half Pans contain around 2ml of paint and are approximately 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" deep.
