Sky Blue Lake

A lake pigment that is lightfast and semi-transparent and very smooth to paint with, Sky Blue Lake is made from a French mineral pigment that is fixed to a natural calcium carbonate base which gives these specific lake pigments a soft, velvety and matte finish when dry.

Our paints are incredibly saturated and are handmade in our shop using high quality pigment and watercolor binding medium that is made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees,) honey, glycerine and distilled water.
