Sew a Mouse Friend with Yina Kim
Couldn't load pickup availability
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 6:30 – 9:30pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
We will make a mouse and a dress using Mama Roar's pattern. I will guide you through the process and show you how to create fun little accessories for your new mouse friend. These make wonderful holiday gifts for friends and little ones!
You will learn how to ladder stitch, gather a dress, and follow a sewing pattern. After the workshop, you can make more mice at home and download additional outfit patterns to expand their wardrobe. If you have a sewing machine and know how to use it, please bring it.
If not, that is completely fine. We can hand-stitch most of the project and use my sewing machine only for the more difficult parts. The workshop price includes the mouse and dress pattern, and payment goes directly to Mama Roar.

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR
Yina Kim is an illustrator and maker who can pretty much make anything. We first met her in 2014, when we discovered her and her partner Soojin's leather goods and shoe repair shop, Odsy Workshop, on Instagram, and immediately got a business crush on them. Flash forward a few years, when a CfM paint maker and friend told Yina they were making paint with us, and Yina said, "I want to do that, too!" So Yina started coming in to make paint during the hours she wasn't running her business and working on the myriad projects she always has going on, and thank goodness she did!

THINGS TO KNOW
If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so we can open up your spot! We are only able to refund if we’re notified at least 48 hours prior to the workshop.
Workshop doors open 15 minutes early for all to arrive and get settled. Class will start promptly so everyone has plenty of time to create!
For public transit, both the #18 bus and the N-Judah muni lines stop just at the corner of our block. If you're driving, there is 1-hour parking along Judah St., and unmetered street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. We recommend building in extra time to park for evening and weekend classes!
If you are planning to teach in the future using anything you’ve learned from us, we kindly ask that you credit Case for Making + the individual instructor where applicable.
Thank you so much for taking our workshops!!
