Saturday, July 19, 11:00am - 12:30pm PT
This is an online workshop held via Zoom.

Celebrate the vibrant colors and organic beauty of summer produce with this session focused on heirloom tomatoes. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced painter looking to refresh your skills, I will guide you through the process of capturing the rich textures, subtle color variations, and unique shapes of these seasonal gems.

You'll learn essential watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet blending, layering, and color mixing to bring out the juicy, sun-kissed essence of tomatoes in all their forms. We'll explore composition, lighting, and how to create botanical-inspired studies so you can experience the fluidity of this medium. By the end of the session, you'll have a beautiful tomato-themed watercolour painting, as well as the skills and confidence to continue painting from nature.

Join Zoom 15 minutes early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and class participants! Class will begin promptly at 5 minutes past the hour, so everyone has plenty of time to create!
