New! Painting Pansies with Sophie Tivona
Wednesday, February 26, 5:00pm - 6:30pm PT
Pansies are a wonderful entry point into botanical illustration! They are small and charming and very fun to paint. Join Sophie for a fun evening exploring these little subjects. Beginners welcome—this is a high-reward subject that will ignite a new passion for painting! We will practice wet-on-wet techniques as well as dry brush details. This class is a meditative way to appreciate the details in nature and to get us ready and excited for spring!

ABOUT SOPHIE
I have followed a meandering path to find my way to a career in illustration and I'm overjoyed to share my love of nature through painting. Watercolor is my muse and I love its unpredictable, unforgiving qualities; it is my daily joy to harness the wildness of the medium and reveal its delicacy and strength.
