This is an online workshop held via Zoom.

When I discovered Ukrainian-born artist Sonia Delaunay’s work, I was instantly drawn to her use of color and her bold geometric shapes in her paintings, collages, and textiles. I have been inspired to explore Sonia’s use of color and geometric shapes in my own work. During museum visits, I make observations of Sonia’s work noting her use of color and shapes. Using Sonia’s art as reference, we’ll explore color, abstraction, and pattern making.

Join Zoom 15 minutes early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and class participants! Class will begin promptly at 5 minutes past the hour, so everyone has plenty of time to create!
