Couldn't load pickup availability
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2:00 - 4:30pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
In this workshop, we will learn how to create a ceramic paint palette that can be used for your painting projects. Learn several hand-building techniques that will allow you to make a custom palette that is designed just for you. This class is great for those who are brand new to ceramics, as well as those with more experience under their belt.
Pieces will be fired, glazed, and returned to CFM within one month of the workshop date. Pieces can be picked up from CFM or shipped to your home for an additional cost.
MATERIALS NEEDED
These are the supplies you'll need to bring for class—feel free to supplement this list with other options you love or have on hand!
- Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
- A white clay and various tools will be provided.
- Participants are encouraged to brainstorm ideas of how they currently use their paint palettes and what shapes would be best for their painting practice. (Would you want the wells to be shallow or deep? Narrow or wide? Do you want a large portion for mixing colors? What shape would your ideal palette be?)
-
Feel free to come in with inspiration images from your head or the web.
If you'd like to purchase supplies from our shop, you can order online and select in-store pickup, or shop in person before class. Shop hours are 11am-6pm daily; please plan ahead if you're picking up supplies! Instructors will not have access to the shop when we're closed.
