Couldn't load pickup availability
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2:00 - 5:00pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!
In this workshop we will delve into painted paper collage – starting with paper we will paint together in class with watercolors and then while this dries, we will transform old paintings and practice pieces into collages. We will make small diptychs, triptychs and multiples that can be grouped together to create larger works of art. We will look at ways to cut apart our painted paper to make color connections and complete shapes using additional paper or even more paint. Working abstractly, we will talk about color and composition and ways to finish works on paper. You’ll walk away with a group of small collages and new ways to approach cutting up and transforming your paintings.
