French Pale Green

A smooth, semi-opaque and lightfast lake pigment. It’s made by fixing a manufactured French mineral pigment to a to a reproduced loam, which gives it a soft, velvety matte finish when dry.

We've included a side-by-side image so you can see how French Pale Green compares to Nicosia, which looks a lot like French Pale Green when fully saturated, but is a bit smoother and more opaque.

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.
