Fluorescent Violet

An ultra-bright synthetic! Like all our fluorescents, this fun glowy violet is opaque and super smooth. 

Fluorescents absorb invisible UV light energy and reemit it at a higher visible wavelength. This enhances the appearance of the pigment, delivering those eye-catching, radiant colors we love! Fluorescents are also fantastic for mixing a bit of brightness into core colors. Let the party begin!

Fluorescents are not lightfast, and painted fluorescents will fade by 50% if left in direct sunlight for 30 days. Fading can be reduced by coating finished pieces in a UV protective varnish and/or keeping them out of direct sunlight.

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine and distilled water.

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.
