This is an online workshop held via Zoom.

Celebrate the month of Inktober by exploring the delicate beauty of insects through watercolor and ink. In this online class, we’ll use flowing washes of watercolor alongside expressive ink linework to capture the textures, patterns, and intricate details of beetles and ladybugs.

Whether you’re fascinated by their shimmering surfaces, bold graphic shapes, or natural symbolism, insects provide endless inspiration for dynamic art. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned artists, this session will guide you through techniques in layering watercolour and ink to create bold, luminous illustrations that honour the small wonders of the natural world.

Join us as we celebrate Inktober with a creative practice rooted in observation, play, and appreciation of the beauty found in mother nature’s miniatures.

Join Zoom 15 minutes early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and class participants! Class will begin promptly at 5 minutes past the hour, so everyone has plenty of time to create!
