WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 6:30 - 8:30pm PT
This is an in-person workshop at
CfM Art Room:
4035 Judah St, San Francisco, next door to our shop!

Come play with paper! In this workshop, we'll find inspiration from found printed material to transform the common and mundane into unique visual constructions. Creating with collage is all about being playful and listening to our intuition, and the simple exercise of arranging can bring so much joy to our creative practice. It’s a wonderful companion to other artistic mediums, and the immediacy can help unblock and open new ways of looking. This workshop is for anyone who has interest in the process; all are welcome! You don’t need to identify as an artist to sign up, and if you are an artist, this is a great class to add a new medium to an existing art practice.

MATERIALS NEEDED
These are the supplies you'll need to bring for class—feel free to supplement this list with other options you love or have on hand!

  • Scissors (bring a pair if you have some that you like, but we'll provide scissors if needed!)
  • Glue Stick
  • Card Stock Paper or sketchbook
  • All source material (like magazines and newspaper) will be provided, but feel free to bring anything you might want to work with or share.

If you'd like to purchase supplies from our shop, you can order online and select in-store pickup, or shop in person before class. Shop hours are 11am-6pm daily; please plan ahead if you're picking up supplies! Instructors will not have access to the shop when we're closed.
