Stormy, stormy, we love you!! The story behind this color is that when we dreamt it up it was called Steel Blue. But, as soon as we painted with it—after mixing and tweaking the recipe to get it just right—its true name emerged so clearly to us. CfM Storm is moody and cozy at the same time. It's a deep, dark and gloomy blue perfect for painting the night sky, dark shadows, and the distant, deepest ocean!

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
