CfM Storm

Stormy, stormy, we love you!!! The true, behind the scenes story of this color is that when we drempt it up it was called Steel Blue. But, as soon as we made it, mixing and tweaking the recipe to get it just right, and then painted with it, its true name emerged so clearly to us. When we said storm to each other out loud we knew it was right. 

CfM Storm is moody and cozy at the same time. It is a deep, dark and gloomy blue perfect for painting the night sky, dark shadows, and the far out ocean! We are so thrilled to have this new color as part of our CfM Custom Blends collection of colors!

All of our watercolors are non-toxic and handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments and natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine and distilled water.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments.
