CfM Riverbed

Inspired by Heidi Gustafson's beautiful reference catalog Book of Earth, this rich mix of earth pigments reminds us of long summer days at the Yuba, running barefoot along the cool, muddy banks and watching the ebb and flow of silty sand beneath the water. It appears warm gray in the pan or when mixed with just a bit of water, but with a pooling premixture and time to do its thing on paper, the Ultramarine Blue Dark settles out for stunning results!

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
