Each Spring some of us head up to Point Reyes to wade through trails of gorgeous lupine shrubs, and this color is our love letter to their bold, bright flowers. But the blend truly emerged from one of our Instagram Live #lunchclub sessions with our bestie Lindsay Stripling, who challenged us to appreciate purple in a new way. We set out to make a purple that gave us all the spring feels, and this one brings floral bliss the whole year through!

CfM Ultra-Blends are custom colors with endless possibilities! Use them with just a bit of water for full, even saturation, or add more water (and a bit more!), let it all pool undisturbed on your paper, and discover worlds upon magical worlds as the colors separate and settle out!

This color contains fluorescent pigment, which is not lightfast. Fading can be reduced by coating finished pieces in a UV protective varnish and/or keeping them out of direct sunlight.

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
