CfM Coral

This delicious, ultra-bright and smooth color resembles the stunning hue of live coral in tropical reefs. Much championed by the dazzling CfM Friends teaching artist Melanie Lan, CfM Coral will punch up any painting: it's perfect for capturing those intense orange-pink skies we love to see at sunset, and its opacity makes it an ideal choice for adding vivid highlights to your spring florals!

This color contains fluorescent pigment, which is not lightfast. Fading can be reduced by coating finished pieces in a UV protective varnish and/or keeping them out of direct sunlight.

All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!

Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
