CfM Cocoa

Our ultimate blended brown! Cocoa is a careful mix of 6 (!!) of our core collection colors - the most out of all of our blends, with Lime and Ruby a close second.

The cool thing about Cocoa is that the 6 colors used to make this color include two different reds, two yellows and two blues! The fact that mixing the three primaries together creates an unlimited amount of neutrals never ceases to amaze us! While our Burnt Umber Dark and Reddish are beautiful single origin earth pigments that lend to texture and some transparency in painting, Cocoa is a smooth and opaque alternative with a lovely ultra-matte finish when dry.

All of our watercolors are non-toxic and handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments and natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine and distilled water.

Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments.
