They're two different parts of the ocean on opposite sides of the world!
Like CfM Topaz, Aqua contains a deep rich synthetic pigment mixed with a bright fluorescent to give it that dimension and liveliness. With the different weights of these specific pigments, you'll really be able to see them each stand out in a wash of the color. The fluorescent, the lighter, lifts out of the heavy synthetic. That's where we fell in love and were inspired to name it Aqua.
Due to the fluorescent pigment used in this blend, the color is not completely lightfast.
All of our watercolors are handmade in our shop using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments, plus natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine, distilled water, and a dash of clove oil for freshness!
Half Pans measure ~3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" and contain ~2ml of paint.
Our custom blended colors don't have a Color Index number, as they consist of a unique blend of two or more pigments. All of our watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236.
