Winter Fruit with Claire Nereim
Tuesday, December 10, 2:00 - 3:30pm PT
In this session we will pay close attention to winter fruit, a bright spot in these darkest days of the year. Bring whatever fruit is available wherever you are right now! Drawing and painting fruit from life is one of my favorite ways to be present and to connect my hands and eyes.
With a focus on observation we will do some quick and loose sketching, mix colors and paint. Watercolor is ideal for working with loose brushstrokes and layered details, and can create really beautiful psychedelic blending. We will use all of these, and explore other properties of the paints, our paper, and the fruits as we work.
Join zoom 15 minutes early (1:45pm) for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and other class participants! Session instructions will begin promptly at 2:05pm PT so that everyone has plenty of time to join!
