Venetian Red / Sad Porticos

Red brick = old ghosts.

In Bologna, Italy, the sidewalks are covered with porticos. These brick arches shelter from rain and snow, provide shade. They are beautiful and lonely, like dogs without owners or lost bicycles, which also happen to be fixtures of this red city.
