One thing that I always say when teaching is to never underestimate the power of a simple shape. In this class, we will be creating minimal paintings that focus on compositions of shapes, lines and colors. Through a series of exercises that employ line techniques and reference images, we will learn to work fluidly and to allow our paints and intuition to guide us through a painting. By the end of the session we will have created a series of small paintings by exploring layering, texture and color palettes.

Join zoom 15 minutes early (4:45pm) for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and other class participants! Session instructions will begin promptly at 5:05pm PST so that everyone has plenty of time to join!
