We will look at the work of Cornell and Saar for inspiration and ideas and use a range of materials to create personal and magical artworks. You will learn assemblage and basic sculptural techniques to create pieces that are dream-like miniature tableaux. We will experiment with scale and use a range of found materials, collage materials and boxes to create tiny worlds. Erin is a faculty member at the 92nd Street Y in New York and teaches at the Richmond Art Center, Ruth’s Table, and other Bay Area art centers. She has designed and filmed two classes with Creativebug and her mixed media work has been licensed and sold with West Elm, Samsung, Target, and Minted.  Erin has been an Artist in Residence for the City of El Cerrito, the City of Walnut Creek, Nick’s Cove, and Creighton University. If you're driving, there is 1-hour parking along Judah St., and unmetered street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
