Location:  1 Hotel San Francisco / Terrene Patio

We’re so excited to host another in-person event in San Francisco! 1 Hotel San Francisco is a beautiful setting for us to gather and is gracious enough to host us at their restaurant Terrene’s patio on the Embarcadero.

Join Case for Making founder, Alexis Joseph and CfM bestie, ceramicist Julie Cloutier for an evening exploring mark making! We will celebrate this Earth Day by honoring the beauty of nature around us by painting rocks and shells. We will begin with a cocktail and a conversation about creating rules as a way to play within an art practice. Julie and Alexis will then lead everyone through a warm up and a deep dive into mark making. The class will end with a few rounds of collaborative painting and we will all leave with two finished works that were collectively painted by all of the class participants!

Please join us at 4pm on the outdoor patio at Terrene for a drink and a chat about process before the painting part of the workshop starts at 4:30!
