Playing with atmospheric perspective, we'll experiment with loose, gestural watercolors and learn how to layer our landscapes. Oftentimes in watercolor, less is more: we'll be utilizing minimal strokes so as not to overwork our pieces. In this class participants are encouraged to broaden their own creative horizons by cultivating a sense of curiosity, courage, and flow. She earned her MFA in painting at the Burren College of Art in Ireland, and has an interdisciplinary background in painting, cross-cultural studies, and somatic psychology. Her work explores the intersection of healing, meaning-making, and the natural world.
