Learn some tricks of the trade from the world of botanical drawing and illustration. Working from real-life apples or pears, we'll combine watercolor and color-pencil techniques to create plant portraits filled with 3D form, character and vitality. These homages to the natural world are inspired by the USDA Pomological Watercolor Collection from the late 1800s/early 1900s. Join me and see if you agree that staring at plants is fun. Suitable for all levels, beginner to experienced.

Join zoom 15 minutes (1:45pm) early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and other class participants! Session instructions will begin promptly at 2:05pm so that everyone has plenty of time to join!
