I was obsessed with finding frogs and tadpoles in ponds growing up in the British countryside. Frogs have been a popular motif historically in art and design, the subjects of fables and folklore, and most recently on the Fall fashion runways. Watercolour is the perfect medium to explore their vibrant patterns and colours. In this session we’ll be observing tree frogs and their chameleon like markings and observe their wide range of patterns and textures. Wet on wet and charging are some of my favourite techniques and lend themself to moving pigments around to illustrate their kaleidoscopic hues.

Join Zoom 15 minutes early for an informal meet and greet with the instructor and class participants!
