Collage is a fun medium to explore \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003ecomposition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e because the pieces can be rearranged and moved about endlessly. To celebrate the Fall Equinox and the time of year when day and night are evenly divided, we will explore symmetry, mirroring, and equal divisions in arranging our collages. We will make a few small collages looking at ways that we can divide our paper to explore new \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"il\"\u003ecomposition\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e ideas. Erin is a faculty member at the 92nd Street Y in New York and teaches at the Richmond Art Center, Ruth’s Table, and other Bay Area art centers. She has designed and filmed two classes with Creativebug and her mixed media work has been licensed and sold with West Elm, Samsung, Target, and Minted.  Erin has been an Artist in Residence for the City of El Cerrito, the City of Walnut Creek, Nick’s Cove, and Creighton University.
